Students  Sharing a laptop The Spectrum Project has come to the end of its current grant funding and is now closed. The project began in the mid 1980's as an ecumenical project and has been based at Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
The first Spectrum training programme was published in 1989. The Spectrum Starter Pack was produced in 1991 and a revised Spectrum training programme was published in 1996.
The final revision of new materials for volunteer youth workers is being published as the project comes to a close. This offers training at 3 levels and consists of: Copies of these training materials will be available through national denominational youth departments. This will include a CD-ROM containing the training resources which used to be available from this site.
Other youth work training resources are available from a number of agencies. The www.cywt.org.uk provides links to an extensive range of Christian youth work training providers.
Please address all youth work training enquiries to those managing youth work in the national office of your denomination or agency. Staff at CTBI may be able to help you if you cannot find the relevant contact details yourself.
